Front Office

Shannon Gonzalez
I am a graduate of Kent State University (1989) and spent my professional career working with delinquent/at-risk kids.  Upon retirement I found I couldn’t sit still so I joined the Folatko team.  I currently live in Brimfield with my husband and have one daughter.  In May 2021, I became a “Gigi” and am fully enjoying this new role.

Jamie Gregory
I’ve lived in Cuyahoga Falls my whole life.  I received my cosmetology license in 2009.  I work part time at this office and do hair the rest of the week, all while raising my beautiful two children.  Kaitlyn is a graduating from Kent State with a degree in Psychology and Will is a Senior at Woodridge HS.

Renee
I have a long-standing career in customer service and I joined the team in 2020.  I currently live in Bath.  My husband and I enjoy hiking and camping.  We have two amazing children and love being grandparents.

Kathy Velo:
I am the office manager and older sister of Dr. Andrea Folatko, whom I have been working for since 2005. I grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1988 and Miami University in 1992 where I studied chemistry. I have had various careers, from analytical lab work to gardening. I enjoy environmental and political activism and in my free time enjoy hiking, gardening and spending time with my family, friends and dogs.

Stephanie Velo
I’m a lifelong resident of Cuyahoga Falls. I graduated in 1990 from CFHS and loved being on swim team while I was there! A lot of patients recognize me from Acme! I worked there from 1992-2006 when I began working for my sister, Dr. Folatko. When I’m not at work, I love taking my dog Lady on long walks and going out to eat!

Dental Assistants

Hannah Johnson:
I grew up in the Stow area and graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 2007. I attended Herzing University in Akron and graduated with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Assisting in 2009 and started working with Dr. Folatko 2009. I got married in September of 2016 and currently live in Stow with my husband, three amazing dogs-Ricky Bobby, Mowgli and Hurley and two crazy cats Porkchop and Ophelia.  I am proud to announce the birth of my daughter, Maren, in 2020 and son, Everett, in May 2021!

Samantha Mueller
I live in the Stow area with my husband, 2 year old daughter, 2 dogs and am expecting a baby boy this year. I have been a dental assistant for 4 years, started at this office in 2019, and have loved working here! My family loves to go camping and hiking around the northeast Ohio area; we love to be outside!

EFDAs

Robyn McKeever:
After becoming a dental assistant in 2004, I worked for a couple years before I met Dr. Folatko. In 2009, Dr. Folatko sent me to Case Western Reserve to complete the Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) program. I was trained to place metallic and non-metallic (composite) restorations and sealants. After completing the program and a one month clinical at St. Elizabeth’s dental clinic in Youngstown, Ohio, I took my board exam and got married one month later! I currently live in Uniontown and enjoy spending time with my husband Logan, who happens to be my high school sweetheart, my little boys Chase and Carter.

Ashley Boyd:
I grew up in Akron Ohio, graduated from Herzing University in 2009 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Assisting. In 2019, I graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine as an EFDA.  I have been employed with Drs. Folatko and Sookoo since 2009. I currently live in Stow, Ohio with husband and son. In my free time, I enjoy working out and spending time with my son, Lil Des and my dog, Bella Nova.

Hygiene

Brittny Brendle:
I was born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls.  I received my degree in 2010 and have been a proud member of the Folatko-Sookoo team ever since.  The best part of my job is that I get to meet wonderful people every day and have built so many special relationships over the years.  I currently reside in Hudson with my family.  In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, being active, gardening and being a mom to my four children.

Lia Kane:
My name is Lia Kane and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist! I earned my Associate Degree of applied Science in Dental Hygiene at Cuyahoga Community College and graduated in June of 2012. It has been my pleasure to be a part of the team at Dr. Andrea Folatko and Dr. Sookoo’s office since October of 2012. I have lived in Ohio most of my life and currently enjoy residing near the Portage Lakes area. Most importantly, I am the mother of one awesome little boy, Liam, who loves the most to be riding on his 4-wheeler!

Stephanie Myers:
I grew up in the North Canton area where I graduated from Jackson High school in 2001. I started working in the dental field in 2002 as a sterilization assistant and later became a dental assistant. I graduated from Stark State College in 2005 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. After graduating I worked for a pediatric dentist in the Canton area, until the birth of my first child in 2009 when I came on board with Dr Folatko. I currently live in Green with my husband and two sons.

Janice Tonelli:
I attended Bedford Senior High School where I graduated in 1984. I am married and have two wonderful sons. I worked as a police dispatcher for fifteen years before deciding it was time for a change. I attended Lakeland Community College where I graduated in 2006 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I have been working with Dr. Folatko as a Dental Hygienist since 2006. In my free time I love spending time with my dogs and family!
